This just in...

I really don't like to have any red marks in my Java Projects in Eclipse. They can be very annoying. Therefore I was looking over net how to "exclude" validation of JScript that are 3rd party JavaScript provided and tested by community. Who the hell is my Eclipse Workspace to validate them again and at same time to report as not valid :)   So here are the steps what to do in order to disable validation on 3rd party JScript files.   1. You must choose Java Project in "Package Explorer" that contains "problematic" JScript files and right click on it. Then modal dialog opens. On left hand side there are categories that you can set for selected resource (project). Among others there is JavaScript also. Click to expand   2. Offered subcategories are: "Code Style", "Editor", "Include Path", "JSDoc Location" and "Validation".   3. Click on "Include Path". As result on right hand side you will get 4 tabs. You should focus on "Source" tab. Click on it.   4. By default, all files are Included and none is Excluded.  Included: (All) Excluded: none   5. Change this settings to exclude 3rd party provided JScript files (e.g. I always put jQuery and other files in separate folders so you can easily apply folder pattern to exclude those files - see following image)     Hope this will help others that has same issue with JScript errors in Java projects.
